The Beverly Wilshire Hotel ~ Lion King 3D Premiere

In August 2011, I was invited to attend Disney’s Lion King 3D Blogger’s Weekend, that included behind-the-scenes interviews with animators, producers and actors.  The excitement of reviewing new Disney technology and products were coupled with VIP Access to the Red Carpet Premiere on Hollywood Boulevard, as well as the Cast After Party.

Blogger’s Weekend kicked off with car service to my 5-star accommodations in the heart of Beverly Hills.  The Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel is simply exquisite and the “place to stay” for the “who’s who.”  It is just steps away (literally) from renowned Rodeo Drive shops, which I couldn’t help but indulge in.

From the moment I arrived, I was well taken care of.  The lobby displayed a gorgeous arrangement of flowers just beneath a crystal chandelier as I made my way to check-in.  The front desk attendant not only secured my room with a view overlooking Rodeo Drive, but he also personally walked me to my room.  I travel quite a bit, so this was a familiar and wonderful sign that impeccable customer service was to be expected.

Within an hour after my arrival, Bruce Willis walked through the door.  Only to be followed by Usher, Suge Knight, Victoria & David Beckham later that weekend! Preparation for the weekend’s MTV Video Music Awards (VMA’s) were in full swing, and the stars were checking in!

The schedule was packed the evening I arrived, and throughout the trip.  But I managed to get in a few quiet moments of reading and room service!  Other guests and I also made time to enjoy some of the sights of Beverly Hills via the Beverly Wilshire’s “house car”…a gorgeous Rolls Royce!

Enjoy some of my photos of the Beverly Wilshire and STAY TUNED for more details of the Lion King 3D Behind the Scenes fun!
